HCBC values educating the community. This year we are offering an introductory course where you will be invited to join our beekeeping community who values sharing information with each other!
The class discussion focuses on the historical interactions between bees and humans, as well as the present status of honeybees and their biology. Throughout the course, you will delve into the intricate world of bee biology and culture, exploring the dynamics among workers, drones, and the queen. Topics covered include hive health, exposure to different types of beekeeping equipment, various bee species, the associated costs of beekeeping and so much more!

HCBC October Meeting/ Potluck

NC State Fair
We will be attending the 2023 North Carolina State Fair only on October 18th with an informational booth and participating in Honey sales. The fair runs Thu, Oct 12, 2023 – Sun, Oct 22, 2023.
